My mother was diagnosed with inoperable stomach cancer, metastasized to distant lymph nodes. This is her survivor story. It is my hope to share the knowledge we are learning along the way and help/ learn from others in a similar situation. My mom is strong because she is a fighter - not because she chooses to be but because there is no alternative.
Do you know why it's taking so long for the radiologist's report? I had my scan on a Friday too and had the report in hand by Monday. Light some fire under someone's ass if you have to! Keeping your mom in my prayers!
Some places take longer. We usually do hubs at the hospital so his team has it right away. Normally they call us to let us know what's up. The bad part about going for one a week before an appointment is the waiting; I have a feeling that's what happened here.
